Just to emphasize the issues that the authorities and private parking companies have with the making their signs clear in their car parks, I report on Suzie who received a fine on her windscreen for alleged illegal parking at Australia’s parliament house in Canberra.
The sign on the car park says “No parking offenders will be fined” which Suzie read as saying that fines would not be given to motorists in this particular car park.
